Condition
Overall good condition; appears to retain almost all of its original decoration but now with a transparent glossy finish probably to stabilize and/or contain the japanning; there are some small areas of inpainting mainly to the front of the drawer divider between the top and middle drawer and to the top edge of the middle drawer at the center; there is inpainting to the edges of the case in places and to the feet; some minor chips and losses to the japanning are found on the case sides and to the top; handles replaced.
