A Set of Twelve Flight, Barr and Barr, Worcester, Armorial Dinner Plates circa 1825-1830

painted in the center with the arms of Gresley and Coventry above the motto MELYORE FYDE QUAM FORTUNA  within a grisaille-decorated pink-ground border and gilt gadrooned rim, printed and impressed factory marks.

All in good condition, with occasional very minor patches of rubbing to the gilding on th rim edges, and very slight stacking scratching in the cavetto, except: one has a quarter inch shallow chip under the rim edge and one has a shallow 1/2 inch chip under the rim the rim and an 1/8 inch chip to the rim edge.
