the circular dish with applied gadrooned rim, the border engraved with arms and crests, the stepped high domed cover with gadrooned band, engraved on both sides with thistle crest under a coronet, the reeded handle stemming from lion heads, the two-handled plated warming stand raised on four paw feet headed by foliage, also with removable plated liner

Condition

Cover with marks very rubbed, some wear to engraving and overall wear, the entrée dish with wear to engraving, dish and cover probably re-gilt, plated warming stand with wear to gilding at high spots
