the circular "raffia" baskets with openwork running ivy borders, supported on the heads of three classically draped maidens holding ribbon-tied thyrsi, all on tripod bases engraved with Royal Ducal Badge and Coronet

Condition

one straight pair by Rundell, 1820, except for one figure and one thyrsus marked by Storr the other pair marked for London, 1809, on bases, one collar and basket (the other basket stuck into collar but presumably the same), maker's mark removed on these parts. The figures and most thyrsi on the 1809 pair marked by Paul Storr. repairs to undersides of ivy borders on 3 baskets, remains of lacquer and wear to gilding on all, missing some nuts; Otherwise good, still very decorative and work well together
