Condition

The Maschek works are all framed. Each of the 58 works is on varying colored paper: cream, brown, or grey. The works all appear to be in generally good condition; some have embossed collectors stamps visible. The five unsigned watercolors are in generally fair condition. There is some minor foxing and rippling in each work, the second evident especially in the image of white flowers. The image of pink flowers has a tear along the right side. The editioned print of the iris is in generally good condition. The photo-mechanical reporductions are in fair condition with toning. None of these works examined out of the frame.
