- marked on base rims, brass backplates engraven Elkington London
- silver

both rectangular, the base rim chased with a band of the emblems of the British Isle, roses, thistles and clover, the sides formed as columns wrapped with berried laurel, the top formed as a pediment chased to match and centered by an oval reserve surmounted by a crown, one engraved with the Prince of Wales plumes, the other with monogram MV, the removable brass backplates with suspension rings and easel stand.
