Description

  • marked on undersides of shell dishes and stamped R&S GARRARD PANTON ST LONDON, finials apparently unmarked
  • silver-gilt
  • heights 16 3/8 in. and 14 5/8 in.
  • 41.5 cm, 37.1 cm
comprising a pair of larger stands and a pair of smaller stands, each on three shell and scroll feet rising to three openwork shell-shaped dishes extending from a scrolling central support applied with berries and flowers, all surmounted by an openwork flower-form dish, the later detachable bud finials springing from leaves.
