painted with underglaze blue, iron red and grey with sprays of chrysanthemum and fans, the silver rim chased with entwined ribbons spaced by flowers against a matted ground, the finial chased as a flowerhead.

porcelain: the cover is sprayed and repaired concealing the exact nature of the damage, the spray is old and with some discoloration in the exterior and with minor peeling to the interior; silver mounts: good condition
