Description

  • finial, cover rim and rim of body with mark for small work, Paris, 1717-22
  • silver, porcelain
  • height 8 1/2 in.
  • 21.6 cm
painted in underglaze blue, iron red and gilt with sprays of flowers and flags, the silver rim chased with running foliage against a matted ground, the foot rim with gadroon band, conforming cover with lobed knop finial.
