the domed circular base with scallop-banded edge, rising to a field of concentric scales beneath two downturned rings of flared petals, the baluster-form stem comprised of a fluted urn form beneath an openwork knop and a fluted stalk, supporting a large cup, the underside decorated with a concentric scale design similar to that on the foot, a gadrooned register above, the undecorated upper portion divided by a deeply recessed band, the top register of oval section.

Condition
Three losses around scalloped lower edge of foot. Chips along lower rim of element just above central knop. Small hole in floor of cup. Minor inherent variations in color. Some grime in crevices.
