Condition

Original sheet has possibly been laid down on another sheet, old adhesive along edges does not disturb image, surface is light struck with mat stains at upper edge, scattered spots of foxing throughout composition most noticeable in lower and upper left corners. Work is affixed to back mat with archival corners.

The exotic garb of the figures and the kiosk in the distance suggest that this drawing may be an artist's impression of a prefabricated conservatory to be sent out from Britain to Turkey.
