the first in in the form of a pagoda, the central cage flanked by circular turrets and surmounted by a spire with a metal flag; the other in the form of a house, the pitched roof with two gables, the tympanums pierced with foliate carving; the whole with pierced foliate-carved borders raised on bracket feet.
Condition
The first in overall good condition; stable, some small chips and losses to paint; appears to have been re-decorated; some minor dings and dents.
The other height 29 3/4 in.; width 21 in.; depth 14 1/2 in. (75.6 cm; 53.3 cm; 36.8 cm); Overall fair condition; overall with some old repaired breaks to extremities and with some losses to applied carving to apron and to some pierced carvings to borders; some old marks, scratches and bruises and chips and losses to decoration in places.
