the first in the form of a house, the hinged pitched roof centered by a chimney and two dormers opening to a compartmentalized interior, the right side fitted with a drawer; the case painted with windows and a door in trompe l'oeil. Together with small spool and thimble; the other in the form of a house, the hinged pitched roof form top centered by a chimney flanked by a pair of dormers and opening to two lidded compartments, the case painted with windows, foliage and a door in trompe l'oeil.

The smaller one: height 5 1/4 in.; width 5 3/4 in.; depth 4 1/4 in. (13.3 cm; 14.6 cm; 10.8 cm) Overall good condition; the painted surface in good condition with some minor losses and chip to paint; surface stable; chip to one bottom corner of drawer; lacking pin stopper to keep drawer locked; overall with some old marks and scratches.
The larger one in overall good condition with some inpainting to the roof; minor chips and losses to the painted surface overall with minor areas of inpainting; rubbing and wear to the corners and with some old marks and scratches.
