the square top inlaid with large geometric shapes within a crossbanding and molded edge tilting above a birdcage support raised on a spreading circular columnar turned stem on cabriole legs ending in pointed pad feet, on casters.  Top and bottom possibly associated, restorations.

Overall good restored condition; sturdy; top and bottom possibly associated; the top with a polished surface and with slight rippling and warpage; minor stress tears to veneers to edges and one hairline age crack to the center; the underside of the top with age cracks and with a dark brown paint; some small scratches to the top with minor areas of perishing to finish; the peg to the birdcage is replaced; the birdcage with later pegs at joins of turned supports; the steam in good condition with usual wear and rubbing at join with birdcage support; legs with usual old bruises, scratches, scuffs and wear, now with a polished surface; nicks, bruises an chips to edges of feet.
