the pagoda form top with molded cornice surmounted by a pierced Gothic-form finial, above a conforming central glazed door with Gothic mullions flanked by a pair of glazed doors all opening to adjustable shelves, the projecting breakfronted lower section fitted with three frieze drawers, the central frieze drawer raised on voluted supports sliding forward to reveal a leather-lined writing panel sliding back to reveal a compartmentalized interior, above a kneehole flanked by a pair of pedestals each fitted with three graduated drawers raised on a molded plinth. Alterations, restorations.

Condition
Overall good condition; top left corner of cornice with small replaced section; repaired tip to top right corner of cornice above the central door; central door with chip and scuff to middle of right side near hinge; nick to lower part of right side panel to upper section; underside of back left corning of molding to top of lower section with a loss; infilling and inpainting to vertical age cracks to right side panel of lower section; the top of lower section with a triangular patch to front breakfronted corners and with a large shaped patch to the left corner and small chip to veneer of right corner; small chip to top left corner to molding of left voluted support; cockbeading with small nicks chips and wear; the plinth with nicks, and wear to edges and corners; overall with usual old marks and scratches; the upper section fitted for electricity.
