Description

  • height 5 ft. 4 1/2 in.; width 6 in.
  • 163.8 cm; 15.2 cm
of typical form with a rope-molded gilt-bronze loop at the top, the gilt-braid pull applied with two royal crown and the initials V / R  twice ending in a gilt-metallic thread tassle.

Condition

Overall very good condition; the gold slightly faded; some minor losses and breaks to metal thread to base of each crown; the pull appears to have been assembled with 19th century braid and embroidery in the 20th century.
