Description

comprising six armchairs and a sofa, each with a pireced backrest carved with ribbon-tied leaves, the fluted and padded armrests with voluted terminals, raised on slightly curved square legs; some with partial paper labels reading ...Corte...Torino Senatore Del... Presidente... Del Regno... Monfezza (?)... Sig. Conte Carlo Cozzi.

Condition

With scattered age and construction cracks, dents and abrasions to all seven pieces. The largest crack to armrest of one. Scattered old worm damage resultin in minor losses to wood at edges. Loss to carving of backrest of one armchair; appears to be a result of worm damage. Some other carved elements now sligtly loose. Minor scattered infills. Redecorated, paint with rubbing and surface dirt. Legs blocked.
