- height 14 1/4 in.
- 37.5 cm
painted in underglaze-blue with a band of Shou characters.
Condition
One vase has some surface abrasion and two diagonal scratches in the glaze in the lower part of the body. There is a large iron spot and a few small glaze gaps in the blue and white band encircling the shoulder. There appears to be some small firing flaws at the edge of the foot. There is a spot of fritting along the edge of the ruyi collar encircling the base of the neck. The other vase also has some surface abrasion and scratches. Both vases are mounted as lamps and drilled through their bases.
