Condition
Overall good condition; the leather lining replaced and with some scratches and stain and minor lifting to center; the crossbanded edge with some small nicks and minor patches with some infilling; the panels to the sides of the pedestals with shrinkage consistent with age; one pedestal with later mahogany pedestal to the interior between the folio slides and the drawers; the interior with some later blocks; the top and pedestals appear to be joined together by metal plates which are attached to the pedestals and fit into the top; these metal plates are probably later; two patches around the keyhole to one centre drawer of one side with a later lock; the brass bail handles to one short side are dirty and in need of polishing; the whole on casters; overall with old marks, scratches scuffs and bruises.
