with serpentine crest rail terminating in scrolled ears above a baluster splat rising from a horseshoe-shaped armrest above a solid baluster splat interspersed by turned posts over a square drop-in cushion seat above a scalloped apron on a cabriole leg terminating in a pad foot at front, block-and-turned legs at rear and sides joined by an X-form stretcher.
Condition
Overall good condition, lovely old waxy surface, nice color some fading and wear to arm rests. Some minor chips to ring turned collars around legs, and stretchers. Extensive wear and chips and nicks to feet. Overall with usual old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises consistent with age and use.
