Description
- Porcelain, earthenware
- length of the first écuelle 6 1/2 in.
- 16.5 cm
comprising an écuelle and cover, a silver-mounted sugar bowl and cover, a group of silver-mounted miniature wares, comprising a circular saucer, a jug and cover, a bowl and cover and a bourdaloue. Together with a Continental creamware two-handled écuelle molded with a rice pattern, 19th century. 11 pieces.
Condition
The prunus-molded ecuelle- There is a minor chip on the cover to the exterior of the rim; one handle of the bowl has been broken and restored back; there is a restored hairline crack extending from the rim where the broken handle is located and running to the center of the bowl, forking in three directions within the center; the restoration also seems to be old and has turned yellow.
The sugar bowl- Please note that the porcelain has not been examined beneath the mounts.
The creamware ecuelle- There are some spots of discoloration to the interior of the ecuelle. The cover is in generally good condition.
Miniature wares seem to be in generally good condition.
