Pile ranges from good 1/8 inch, matted down, with areas of foldwear and wear low to knotheads--not extensive; 7 x 7 inch reweave in lower end; field color very faded in center with both ends near original more saturated color; few repaired slits to both sides---with repiling and reweave. Original selvages.
Ends secured with blanket stitch.
Supple handle, sound fabric, lustrous wool.
