together with a late Ottoman silk and metal thread embroidery.  2 pieces.

Condition

Banya Luka: comprised of wool felt, silk embroidered outlines, some metal thread embroidery and silk velvet in mihrab; velvet very worn, surface abrasions overall; some losses to stitching; wool areas generally intact; few minor holes; backed with old silk lining, now stained, and with velvet surround on all four sides. Velvet surround very worn and detached in areas. Silk and metal thread embroidery; very unevenly faded ground; silk rotting and splitting in areas; oxidation to metal thread; silk embroidery is generally intact. Silk backing, some stains.
