Condition

The work is in overall good condition. The verso with five scattered, tiny areas of Japan paper, addressing likely thinness. The lower left sheet edge with a 2 ½ inch horizontal crease breaking through and a shorter 1 inch tear, both backed with Japan. The sheet edges have been trimmed manually and in accordance with the artist's charcoal borders. The sheet with pale light-stain, darkest at the mat opening.
