The specimen marble top veneered onto a slab; two corners with patches to side edges of veneered marble approximately 2 inches; 5 inches; 4 inches and 2 inches in length; the center of the marble appear to be in good condition with usual minor scratches and wear consistent with age and use.
The surface of the table in slightly distressed condition with chips and losses to gilding throughout; appears to have been over-gilded as some point, but gesso appears to be original and there appears to be a number of layers of gilding underneath; areas of restoration and inpainting to gilding; the table structurally sound.
