Folio, unbound as issued (16 3/4 x 12 7/8 in.; 425 x 327 mm, uncut).  13 double-page color lithographs by Joan Miró, numbered in pencil I–XIII on versos.  Original printed wrappers, glassine.  Buckram slipcase and chemise, spine gilt-lettered; slipcase and spine faded, with stain on spine.



Copy 51 of 180 copies on Arches (of a whole edition of 205), signed by Miró.  The letterpress was printed at the Imprimerie Nationale using their 17th-century "Roman du roi" fonts designed by Phillippe Grandjean for Louis XIV.  The colorful double-page lithographs were printed by Mourlot.
