The painting is on a single piece of wood with a slight vertical bow. The picture is underneath a rather dirty varnish which has discolored over time. The craquelure pattern in the green drapery is quite pronounced but the paint layer does seem stable. Losses to the physical panel are visible at the lower right edges. UV light confirms dirty milky varnish. Small losses to paint which appear as white flecks. Picture would benefit from careful cleaning and restoration. Most original paint remains so could respond well to restoration.
