Overall distressed condition; the leather lining to the top in distressed condition with large losses to the back right corner and to the right side, tears over lines of construction with subsequent losses; total loss to the marquetry to the back right corner, front right corner with extensive losses to marquetry and back left corner with water damage to veneers and marquetry; losses to veneers to the left side apron and to back side apron; legs with extensive losses to veneers; sun-fading throughout and bleaching to the veneers; side drawers with replaced linings; would benefit from sympathetic restoration.
