Condition
The first: Study of a Man's Right Leg: The sheet has been carefully preserved and presented. The work has not been laid down but is attached to the mount at the sheet edges on the reverse. There is a crease running horizontally across the lower section of the composition, this can be seen in the illustration. There is some minor surface dirt to the sheet. The pen and ink pigment has remained strong. The second: Studies of a Reaper Sharpening a Scythe: The sheet has been carefully preserved. The work is not laid down but is hinged at the sheet edges at two places on the reverse. There is very minor surface dirt at the sheet edges. The watercolor pigment has remained clear. The third, Otford, Kent: The sheet has been carefully preserved and presented. The work has not been laid down but is attached at the sheet edges. The sheet is stained and there is minor fading to the brown wash.
