with an oval plaque enamelled en plein with fruit and flowers, opening to a plumed and automated bird raised from a blue enamel bed, the sides engine-turned and chased with foliage and urns highlighted with blue enamel, the movement separately wound

Condition

working well, bird song continues after bird goes down, a small post in movement now lacking its devise, perhaps this is connected to why the bird song does not turn off, one dent in the back, slight bulge in one side, unusual arrangement where the hinged top has to be opened to reveal the winding holes, which aren't normally concealed
