the lid surmounted by a nobleman standing with his dog, the body carved in the round with a stag hunting scene within a forest, the silver mounts embossed with a stag and dogs, struck with Austrian control marks on the thumb piece and rim.

Condition
Overall in very good condition. With no visible loss or chips to ivory. The ivory has a slightly brown color, most probably due to a slightly colored varnish. The silver with the usual tarnishing from environmental effects.
