the central oval panel with Bacchic figures, nymphs, fauns, and a bacchante crowning Psyche, the embossed silver mounts with dolphins, masks, scrolled acanthus leaves and fruit-filled cornucopia, the four rectangular panels with bacchanial festive scenes interspaced with herms, struck with German silver marks, maker's mark E incuse, and with Austrian silver mark, set within a later mahogany vitrine presentation table.

Overall in good condition and very good presentation. By being protected, the ivory plaques have retained their milk color and there is no evironmental staining. The silver with the usual tarnishing due to age. The later presentation table with the usual dents, nicks and scratches consistent with age and use.
