the ceramic body decorated to the front with a classically draped woman attended by cupids and doves, the three other sides with vases of flowers, cupids and a maiden, signed Eug. Poitevin.

Condition

Overall in good condition. Tarnishing, oxidation points and surface dirt to gilt bronze mounts. Bronze stand may have been additionally painted or patinated at one time, it now shows traces of former coloring. Wear to painted ceramic surfaces and gilt highlights. Several losses to champleve enamels. Interior of planter has oxidized.
