The complete portfolio, comprising 41 etching and aquatints, with accompanying text by Luis de Gongora y Argote, 1947-48, this copy numbered 242 on the justification page (from the total edition of 275), on Marais paper watermarked Gongora, published by Les Grande Peintres moderns et Livre, Paris, contained in the original greenish Auvergne wrappers, with olive green cloth boards and slipcase, as issued (41 prints)
Condition
The full sheets, the prints are in good condition apart from scattered pale foxing primarily at sheet edges. The boards separating at the lower spine of cover, the slipcase with minor wear at top corner and the paper slightly lifting .
