Condition

Frauenkopf: In good condition apart from a soft vertical flattened crease running parallel to the left sheet edge and visible in a raking light, ink annotations in an unknown hand in the upper right margin, the upper right sheet tip lightly creased. The verso with a band of adhesive discoloration along with lower sheet edge (with associated skinning). Zauberkunstler: In good condition with wide margins. The margins with very faint mat-stain, three soft creases at top and three at lower right. Alte und junge Frau: In good condition, the sheet unevenly trimmed. The margins with very, very faint mat stain, a small area of pale damp stain at upper left, flattened soft handling creases at lower left and right corners. The sheet edges verso with a band of adhesive stain along the lower edge and a semi-circular patch of linen (previous hinging or repaired tear?) at upper center, both showing through slightly to recto and with a slight ripple in the sheet at the upper.
