Etching, 1879-80, from the First Venice set, a fine impression of the fourth state (of nine), signed in pencil on the tab with the shaded butterfly and inscribed 'imp', published by the Fine Art Society, London, on laid paper, framed

Condition

The print is in good condition, trimmed to the plate on sides with thread margins at top and bottom and the tab as intended by artist. Minor imperfections include three fox marks along the right sheet edge (at corners and one at center), the verso with a few tiny fox marks, the sheet slightly waved.
