Description

  • inkpot: 5cm. high, pavilion 11.5cm. high, obelisk 17cm. high, medallion 16cm. high, 13cm. wide, instands 5cm. high
in the form of the Temple of  Vesta, on a stepped marble base, together with an Italian mottled liver, grey and white marble model of a Roman bath, Roman, circa 1880 with a ram's mask handle on each side on paw feet, together with an Italian marble model of a funerary monument, Roman, circa 1840 inscribed Ciaus Caestius, together with a gilt-bronze-mounted rosso antico medallion depicting a head on a lapis lazuli ground (not illustrated) together with an Italian white marble inkpot and sander of square form carved with military trophies, circa 1790 (not illustrated)

Condition

The two hardstone inkwells with chips and rubbing to decoration. The Temple of Vesta inkwell lacking a lid. The other items in good order.
