- wool flat weave
- various measurements: Two largest cushions: 54cm. by 52cm., 9ft. 1in., 1ft. 8in.; and 49cm. by 63cm., 1ft. 7in., 2ft. 1in.; and smaller
tapestry sections of various sizes, woven with allegorical figures, strapwork detailing, putti, flowers and fruit, all on a saffron yellow ground (Qty 7)
Condition
All cushions with modern oatmeal coloured speckled light wool backing.
Measurements:-
Large square cushion: 54cm. by 52cm., 9ft. 1in., 1ft. 8in.; with a cut and joined patch in the bottom right corner
Large rectangular cushion: 49cm. by 63cm., 1ft. 7in., 2ft. 1in.;
Two narrow rectangular cushions: 48cm. by 21cm., 1ft. 7in., 8in.; and 48cm. by 23cm., 1ft. 7in., 9in.
Two small square cushions: 27cm. by 36cm., 10in., 1ft. 2in.; and 28cm. by 36cm., 11in., 1ft. 2in.
Generally in good condition, with some minor splits, and fading to colour which is commensurate with age. Decorative lot.
