The print of the Duchesse de Berry is after the famous painting by Henri-Joseph Hesse which was exhibited at the Salon in 1819. A coffee jug today kept in the musée des Arts decoratifs in Bordeaux is also decorated with this iconic portrait of the Duchesse.
