Description

the circular top centred by a chessboard; losses

Condition

The border of the top is missing a section (approx: 36cm. wide x 5cm. deep). The inlaid areas are intact. The base has a fracture to one scrolled leg, and there are signs of previous restoration to that area. As a result the table is slighty unstable. Brass inlay lifting in localised areas. Loss to moulding on one side of base of triform baluster. There are traces of old wood worm.
