Description
- IVORY AND WOOD
of octagonal rectangular form, the box and cover finely carved and pierced with landscape panels and set with a handle; together with a carved ivory and wood tray, a silver mounted ivory box and cover and carved ivory pointer
Condition
The basket and cover are in good overall condition with the exception of some of the pierced panels slightly separating from the vertical frames, a break across the rear central panel of the basket, and three very minor losses to the pierced decoration on two panels; the tray is in good condition with the exception of a slight split at one join and the loss of one foot; the cylindrical box is in good condition with the exception of loss (4 x 0.4cm and 1.5 x0.1cm to the rim of the separated cover); and the pointer has a small loss to the tip.
