Condition

Unexamined out of frame and under glass (both). Castellamare only: The are two small punctures in the sheet (visible in the catalogue illustration): one to the left above the harbour, and the other slightly above the horizon to the right, with a few minor dropmarks in the sky. There has been some fading of the pigments in both works over time (visible in Camaldoli where a thin section along the upper edge has not been exposed). Each held in a decorative gold-painted frame under glass.
