Condition
Unlike the other platinum prints by Outerbridge offered in this catalogue, this dazzling print has a cool tonality. The prints tones range from a deep back to a sparkling white in the highlights. It is in excellent condition.
The print is on Outerbridge's characteristic thin board mount, with a debossed area into which the photograph has been carefully affixed. The mount shows minor wear at the edges and corners, and, on the reverse, has old paper tape remains on all 4 edges, almost certainly indicating that it was originally in an overmat.
