Folio, brown pictorial buckram clamshell box, artist's proof 4 in a total edition of 55 (11)
Condition
These photographs are in generally excellent condition except where noted.
1. 'Entrance to the Ghetto, Cracow, 1938' is missing.
3. 'The Face of Wisdom, Cracow, 1936': There is a light fingerprint on the center-right mount edge.
6. 'At the Open Fire, Carpathian Ruthenia, 1938': There is minor edge chipping. Apparent in raking light in the upper-left corner of the image is a tiny droplet deposit of indeterminate nature.
8. 'Heder, Slonim, Russia, 1938': There is a minor loss of emulsion measuring less than one cm. in the lower right corner of the image.
On the reverse of the colophon is light fingerprint soiling. The folio is in generally very good condition with stray light linear marks and rubbing at the extremities.
