mounted, signed with a stylus in the image, the photographer's credit, reproduction rights, copyright and '821 Ave. of the Americas, New York 1, N. Y., Tel 212 LA 4-6935' studio stamps on the reverse, 1946, probably printed in the 1950s (Johnson 21:001)
Condition
This photograph, on a cream-colored mount with a black back, is in generally very good condition. In raking light, deposits of retouching, likely original, and a few small scratches are visible.
The mount corners are bumped and there is a small, circular, rust-colored deposit of indeterminate nature near the left edge. On the reverse are light abrasions and adhesive remains from a previous mounting.
This print does not appear to fluoresce when examined under ultra-violet light.
