Oblong folio, black cloth folding box with red paper label and single flap, the printed plate list and colophon, numbered '1' in ink, affixed to the reverse of the flap, each no. 1 in a total edition of 113 (10)
Condition
The prints and printed matter are in generally excellent condition. The margin corners are lightly bumped, and the edges are lightly rubbed. The mats are numbered with a blindstamp with the corresponding print number in the lower left corner.
The clamshell box is in generally good condition. It shows wear at the extremities, and in some small areas the cloth is split. The back cover is rubbed.
New York City 1972: In raking light, two very faint surface scratches are visible in the upper left quadrant. These do not break the emulsion.
Forth Worth, Texas 1974: In raking light, a few soft crescent-shaped handling creases that do not break the emulsion are visible in the print.
Utah 1964: In raking light, 2 soft crescent-shaped handling creases that do not break the emulsion are visible along the upper edge of the image, at the right side.

This group of photographs is from the collection of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, a distinguished private college of art, architecture and engineering founded in 1859 by industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper. Proceeds support Cooper Union's hallmark tradition of granting a full-tuition scholarship to every student.
