of basket form, the reeded gold mounts containing panels of exceptionally thin and delicate translucent honey-coloured agate, flange thumbpiece, maker's mark illegible, date letter probably that for 1732, discharge mark of Hubert Louvet with further 18th century discharge and countermarks
