le personnage, un genou à terre, les deux bras mobiles pouvant être actionnés par une clé dans son dos, reposant sur une double terrasse ovale gravée de rinceaux et fleurs, le ressaut gravé d'armoiries d'alliance timbrées des initiales HWVL BGK

Condition

In overall good condition, the gilding worn, mainly on arms, the terrace bent. Both marks on terrace rim. The Rohmer glass and probably a sword missing. Very unusual piece. Good quality.

Les armes de la femme sont celles des Kreckwitz, de Silésie, corroborées par la lettre K des secondes initiales.

Un personnage similaire habillé en Turc présentant le même système d'ouverture des bras, par le même orfèvre, figure dans les collections du Germanisches Nationalmuseum. Il date de 1609-1625.
