A similar bowl with identical handles, by the Strasbourg goldsmith Johann Ludwig Imlin (master 1689) is the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Strasbourg, inv. no. XXVI-95. An almost identical bowl with Strasbourg town mark only was sold Sotheby's London, 5 July 1982, lot 137
