L'évêque Antonio Martínez de la Plaza, né à Cadiz en 1736, fut nommé évêque des Îles Canaries puis de Cadiz où il mourut en 1800.

Bishop Antonio Martínez de la Plaza was born in Cadiz in 1736 and nominated Bishop of the Canarian Islands. He then returned in Cadiz where he was Bishop and died in 1800.
